Bringing the Future of Energy Storage to Market
Agema Labs partnered with Curtis and Stout to bring EMTEL’s long-duration energy storage (LDES) system to market, addressing the critical limitations of lithium-ion storage. By aligning data center developers, financiers, and renewable energy providers, we developed a strategy to position ENPACK as a safer, more sustainable alternative. The result is a scalable platform now actively advancing adoption across mission-critical energy infrastructure.
The Challenge
The energy storage industry is facing growing pressure to deliver scalable, safe, and sustainable solutions that go beyond the limits of lithium-ion. Fires, declining performance, environmental risks, and lack of infrastructure alignment have created a gap between energy storage demand and real-world readiness.
Curtis and Stout, a legacy power systems integrator, in partnership with EMTEL Energy, developed ENPACK — a long-duration energy storage (LDES) platform designed for a safer, cleaner future. But breaking through a crowded, skeptical market takes more than technology.
They needed a go-to-market strategy and a trusted team to bring ENPACK to the world.
Our Approach
Agema Labs is leading the strategy and business development effort for EMTEL’s ENPACK platform in partnership with Curtis and Stout. We’re building an ecosystem around a new generation of long-duration storage by:
Impact
- Strategic Partnership Secured: Agema Labs was selected by Curtis and Stout to drive ENPACK’s market development.
- Market Adoption Underway: Active engagement with data center developers, financiers, and utilities to deploy LDES in mission-critical applications.
- Industry Narrative Shifting: ENPACK is positioned as a next-generation, lithium-free alternative that reduces fire risk, increases lifespan, and aligns with future infrastructure needs.
